Deepavali isn't just a festival of lights for me - its beyond that

This year, it’s even more special with two little cuties we’ve just adopted, Kalki and Koechlin (no disrespect to Kalki Koechlin) ☺️
Our home is filled with extra laughter, chaos, and a whole lot of tiny paw prints! 🐾

The house gets a top-to-bottom cleanup a week before Diwali, clearing out what’s no longer needed.

We bring in something new for Dhanteras, and this time, our adopted kittens have made real diyas a “no-go”—they’re too mischievous!

So we’ve decked the balcony with safe, twinkling lights

Diwali is also about giving back for me – from sweets to small bonuses, it’s a chance to appreciate the wonderful people who make our lives easier.

Little gifts here and there, a simple “thank you” in sweet form—it feels great to spread the joy.

And yes, I’ve got a few new kurtas ready because for the once who know me, they know – dressing up is half the fun!

I skip crackers but love watching the fireworks light up the sky.

And the best part—no diets, all sweets!

I hope my trainer Musthafa isn’t seeing this…but if you are, happy Diwali to you too! 🎉

It’s the year where hashtagTheTummyReturns 😄

And this year, as always, I’ll be at home, soaking up the day with family and our little kittens. ❤️

Here’s wishing you a Diwali full of love, laughter, and light! 🌟✨
What are you looking forward to the most this Diwali? 🪔❤️
